The winter shipping season is a lot different than the summer shipping season. The weather is colder, obviously, and snow is much more common in the northern states which makes it more difficult for carriers to run routes to, from or through many of the northern areas of the country. More southern routes are usually a bit cheaper during the winter months and carrier availability is usually higher due to there being less people looking to move their vehicles. Winter is definitely the slow season in the auto shipping industry, but there still plenty of customers shipping during the winter to keep us busy.
