Many customers like to cover all the bases – get a bunch of different auto shipping quotes, book with a couple different companies, and let the first truck to show up take the car. But this is a bad way of doing things – getting multiple quotes is great, but when it comes to actually booking your shipment you should only ever book with one company at a time. It takes time for shippers to find a carrier and schedule your transport, and double-booking (booking with more than one company) not only can set you back more than you bargained for, but it could also lead to your shippers actually cancelling your entire order, leaving you without a company at all. Booking with one company is always better, not just for your wallet, but for everyone involved. It cuts down on confusion and allows shippers to do their job as opposed to fighting over who gets to pick a vehicle up.
